About the firm

How Talentstra works.

Talentstra primarily serves boards, CEOs, CHROs, transformation leaders, and investors who need senior talent judgment, confidential search, or leadership advisory support across the United States, Canada, and global capability centres.

Yes. Candidates can submit a profile or apply for selected mandates. The primary site experience is designed around executive buyer decisions, but senior candidates are handled with the same care as clients.

Yes. The four core services work together across executive search, leadership assessment and coaching, PeoplePilot-enabled people analytics, and talent management. An engagement can begin in one service and draw on another as the leadership need becomes clear.

Retained executive search is priced as a percentage of first-year total cash compensation, staged across the engagement. Advisory work is scoped to a fixed fee against a defined deliverable. Pricing is agreed in writing before any work begins.

Retained executive search engagements carry a replacement commitment. The specific terms are set out in the engagement letter and depend on the seniority and market scarcity of the role.

Calibration sessions can usually be scheduled within a week of first contact. Most executive search mandates move from calibration to shortlist in six to ten weeks depending on market scarcity.

Personal data is collected only where it is needed for the engagement, held under a written agreement covering access and retention, and deleted on request. Analytics engagements work on aggregated or de-identified data wherever the question allows.

The primary executive markets are the United States and Canada. Leadership and talent work involving global capability centres may extend to India and other relevant geographies, depending on the mandate.

Executive Search

View practice

Yes. Confidentiality is treated as a core operating requirement for board, succession, and transformation mandates. Approaches are made without naming the client until a candidate is qualified and under agreement.

Talentstra calibrates must-have evidence, culture context, and tradeoffs before outreach so volume never substitutes for judgment. The shortlist arrives with a written case for and against each candidate.

Most executive mandates move from calibration to shortlist in six to ten weeks, depending on market scarcity and the seniority of the role. Timeline expectations are agreed in writing at the outset.

Assessment & Coaching

View practice

Yes. Competency models and assessment centers can be calibrated to the organization, role, and leadership expectations rather than pulled off a shelf.

Yes. Coaching can support executives, succession candidates, newly promoted leaders, and high-potential talent, with the depth matched to the stakes.

Through observed behaviour change, decision quality, and sponsor feedback at agreed checkpoints — not attendance or satisfaction scores alone.

People Analytics

View practice

PeoplePilot supports the analysis, while Talentstra helps leaders interpret the findings and decide what to do next.

Yes. The approach supports importing or structuring data from existing systems before recommending new tooling, so prior investment is not written off.

Engagements operate on aggregated or de-identified data wherever the question allows it, under a written data processing agreement covering access, retention, and deletion.

Talent Management

View practice

Yes. The work can refine existing performance, succession, assessment, and development systems without forcing a full rebuild.

The best sponsors are CEOs, CHROs, business presidents, or transformation leaders who need talent systems tied to business outcomes.

A first talent review usually runs on the new design within one quarter; the cultural shift in how leaders talk about their bench takes two to three cycles.
