Privacy and candidate consent.

How Talentstra collects, uses, stores, and deletes the information you share with us. Last updated 11 June 2026.

What we collect

Talentstra collects information only where you actively provide it, through one of three routes on this website:

  • Confidential inquiries — your name, work email, organisation, the practice area and timeline you selected, and the message you wrote.
  • Talent profiles — your name, email, optional telephone number, target role, preferred location, seniority, optional LinkedIn or biography links, and any context you add.
  • Mandate applications — your name, email, optional telephone number, the context you write, the résumé you upload, and the mandate you applied to.

Each submission also records the page you submitted from and any campaign parameters present in the URL, so we know how you reached us. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels on this site.

Why we hold it

Information is used to evaluate and respond to your request, to match senior candidates against live and upcoming mandates, and to maintain a record of consent. It is not used for anything else. Talentstra does not sell client or candidate information, and does not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Confidentiality in a search process

Candidate information is never shared with a client organisation without your explicit agreement to be put forward for a specific mandate. Equally, a client's intentions are not disclosed to candidates or to the market until the client has agreed. This runs in both directions and is treated as a core operating requirement rather than a courtesy.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are written to a private Google Workspace spreadsheet controlled by Talentstra, accessible only to advisors working the relevant engagement. Résumé files are stored in the associated private Google Drive folder. Access is restricted by account and reviewed periodically.

How long we keep it

Inquiry records are retained for the duration of the client relationship and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records. Candidate profiles are retained while they remain relevant to current or foreseeable mandates. Application records are retained for the duration of the search and a limited period afterwards. You can shorten any of these by asking us to delete your record.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, or delete your record entirely. There is no retention argument and no exit process — email business@talentstra.com and we will action it. Depending on where you live, you may also have specific statutory rights over your personal information, and we will honour those requests on the same basis.

Children

This website is intended for business use by professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
